The FCC has acted to drop Morse code requirements for all amateur radio license classes.

According to the press release, Technician class amateurs will now have limited privileges in the HF band (Below 30 MHz).

Thank you to all members for your hard work and dedication during 2006. Lee County ARCT members made many accomplishments over the year, including CERT training, Skywarn Basic and Skywarn Advanced training, Nims 100, 200, 700, and 800. and have participated in two county-wide emergency drills, as well as 2 "SET" drills. More to come in 2007!

We would like to welcome the Chatham County ARC Team! There have been numerous meetings for the Chatham County group, and things have started off well! If you have an interest in serving the Chatham County chapter of the CCARCT, please contact Rhett Isley, or visit the next meeting. Meetings are held the Second and Fourth Tuesdays of each month.
